Tsukino-Con Re-cap

Our first convention of the year, Tsukino-Con in Victoria B.C. just happened last weekend. It was fun making the trip to our province’s capital city. Taking the BC Ferry ride to the island is always an adventure. We missed boarding the earlier ferry by 3 cars! So we were stuck having dinner at the Terminal. Luckily they had a pretty good food selection- we had the Beef Dip sandwich and tacos, which wasn’t too bad. Victoria is home to the BC Parliament Building, and world famous Butchart Gardens. The city’s Chinatown is the second oldest in North America after San Francisco’s.

This was our 2nd year doing Tsukino-Con. It was great to see some familiar faces who were really proud to show us their crazyheads products they were wearing. This is a great small show that lets us get to know our fans. It was held at UVic and the dealers are in classrooms, you couldn’t miss us. We were the ones playing 2NE1 all day. We debuted our new cotton hoodies and hooded smitts. Here’s some photos from the show.

National Sweater Day- Feb 9th

On Feb 9th we’re turning down the heat and wearing our warm fuzzy sweaters to take action against climate change. I work in a basement so I’ll probably put on 2 sweaters!

About Sweater Day

On Feb 9th, put on your favourite sweater and turn the heat down a few degrees to help WWF take action against climate change, and work toward a sustainable future.

By rethinking how we use energy and how much we use, we can make a big impact on climate change.
If every Canadian lowered the heat a few degrees this winter, it’d be like taking 300,000 vehicles off the road!
So wear that sweater and make the world a better place for your Grandchildren.

To make sure you put one on, Grannies are standing by to personally call and remind you.
