So it’s been a while since I’ve done a post. We’ve been busy dong conventions, trade shows and launching our new kids line. I know we make things look effortless ;p but these things really do take a lot of time. There’s a lot of work, and planning that goes into everything we do. We are a small team, that’s lean and mean making this operation run but we make it happen while having fun at the same time. Just as an update to what’s been going on in the past few months, here’s a nice recap of events that’s happened over April and May.
We did our hometown show for the 2nd year, Fan Expo Vancouver. They made it an even bigger event and the Dealers Room was under the sails. Singer Kieran Strange came and hung with us for a while. She handed out Punch Brand post cards and sent some fans over to our booth. I caught a glimpse of the iconic DeLorean from Back to the Future movies. It was cool!
We were in Toronto for Anime North at the end of May. This year it was cooler than usual. Every year it’s usually scorching hot, but this year was rather cool so people bundled up in hoodies. Which was good for us This year we launched 4 new t-shirts designs. See if you can spot them. Meelo in Space was a sure hit at the show!
It’s been a crazy few weeks for us. We just completed a 6 week convention run, we visited many cities including Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton and Winnipeg. Wow that’s all Canadian cities, cool! Did you see us in your city? Hope you were able to come by and see us. Now we’re just decompressing after last weekend’s Fan Expo Canada.
I can’t believe it’s September next week! Oh yeah we’re running a “Win a Free Hoodie” Sweepstakes on Facebook. You can enter here: Enter Hoodie Sweepstakes. We’re giving away one of our brand NEW Panda Hoodies every week. So go enter now! And maybe you’ll win a new hoodie just in time for the new school year. In the meantime, we’re sorting through all the amazing pics we took at the conventions. We’ll post them up real soon. Thanks for your patience.
Join us for the first annual Fan Expo Vancouver!!! We are so excited to be exhibiting at the city’s very first Major Comiccon, in our hometown of Vancouver, BC. Visit us in the Exhibitor’s Hall, Booth #101.

It has since been re-branded as Fan Expo Canada featuring Comic, Anime, Science Fiction, Horror and Gaming. The event has evolved into a spectacular, annual, multi-media even with prestigious acclaim, becoming North America’s 3rd largest event of its kind.
Our 2012 convention schedule is posted up on our website. We’re happy to be back at many of our favorite shows. This weekend we’re at WonderCon.
WonderCon, one of the country’s best comics and pop culture conventions, moves to Anaheim, CA and the beautiful Anaheim Convention Center for 2012. Taking place the weekend of March 16-18 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), WonderCon is coming off its best year ever, with over 49,000 attendees in its 25th annual event in San Francisco in 2011.
This will be our 2nd year exhibiting at the show. We’ll be bringing our new fleece and cotton hoodies, striped cotton hoodies, new hooded smitts, Angry Little Girl tote bags, Sock it to me socks, new MEME troll face pins and keychains and so much more. Come by and say hello, we’re at booth# 756. We’re located 2 aisles across from the Nintendo booth. See you there!
We love this new video by LIGHTS- “Saviour”. She’s such a talented artist, you can check out her music on her website http://www.iamlights.com/
Did I mention she also wears our products? Here’s a picture of her wearing our cute panda hoodie. We’ve tried to contact LIGHTS (actually her manager) a while back to try to work on a collaborative project. We heard she’s a huge fan of comic books. But we never expected she would walk by our booth at Fan Expo. She even bought our grey SMITTS. We were ecstatic! (Oh and btw, LIGHTS if you happen to read this, we’re still open to a collaboration) ^ _ ^
