For the days leading up to the show, there was talk about estimated attendance. Perhaps 2,000…maybe 5,000 tops. Word must of got out fast because by Saturday afternoon, the lineups were so long, they lead outside onto the street. At one point, there was word that they had to stop tickets sales due to over capacity. The turnout was more than everyone could have imagined.

For a long time, we needed a show like this in Vancouver. And I’m glad the staff at HobbyStar/ Fan Expo Canada recognized that and were able to put together a show that generated buzz around the city. Overall we had an amazing experience and we’re looking forward to being part of it again in 2013. Thanks to our many fans who came by our booth. It was great chatting with you in person. I like to tell everyone that we are a local design company from Vancouver and we are so proud to part of such a great event in our hometown. WonderCon, one of the country’s best comics and pop culture conventions, moves to Anaheim, CA and the beautiful Anaheim Convention Center for 2012. Taking place the weekend of March 16-18 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), WonderCon is coming off its best year ever, with over 49,000 attendees in its 25th annual event in San Francisco in 2011.

This will be our 2nd year exhibiting at the show.
