Punch Brand Lookbook Photoshoot

About a month ago, I had the pleasure of  working with a very talented group of people. For a long time, I’ve wanted to put together a Lookbook for my clothing line.  So I came up with the idea of  creating a lifestyle photoshoot as part of a marketing campaign for Punch Brand.

The goal was to capture the fun, youthful energy and upbeat vibe of the Punch Brand customer. My first thought was to recruit somebody who could help me bring this fun and playful style to life. I immediately thought of my cousin Zarah! So we set up a meeting and I explained to her about my vision. She was as excited as I was to work on the project. She pretty much took the reigns and contacted a photographer she knew who would be perfect for the job.

She suggested Jeremy Jude Lee, a long time friend and photographer from Vancouver. So we met up and discussed the details with him. He had some really great ideas for the shoot in terms of the look, style and locations. Next task was to pick the perfect models for the shoot. We were so happy that Veronika and Briana came on board to be our models. It took some planning, scheduling and coordinating to get everyone together and ready for the day of the shoot. It was definitely a team effort and everyone contributed to the success of the project.

On the day of the shoot, we were lucky to have 2 very talented people do the models hair and makeup. Our hairstylist Brendan let us meet at his apartment to prep the models for the shoot. Local make up artist Jessica Noujeim, freed up her schedule for us on short notice and did an amazing job with the models makeup. Everything came together really smoothly and it turned out to be a perfect shoot.

I took video clips with my digital cam during the shoot. And put together this short video of the highlights of the day of the shoot. The actual Lookbook will be available to view on our NEW website…coming soon!

LIGHTS wears Panda Hoodie

We love this new video by LIGHTS- “Saviour”. She’s such a talented artist, you can check out her music on her website http://www.iamlights.com/

Did I mention she also wears our products? Here’s a picture of her wearing our cute panda hoodie. We’ve  tried to contact LIGHTS (actually her manager) a while back to try to  work on a collaborative project. We heard she’s a huge fan of comic books. But we never expected she would walk by our booth at Fan Expo. She even bought our grey SMITTS. We were ecstatic! (Oh and btw, LIGHTS if you happen to read this, we’re still open to a collaboration) ^ _ ^
